”Speech.”
Text text text text
It had seemed like such a long time since the phantom’s hooves had touched the ocean water. Since the birth of Rais and Deliria, the family had kept under the radar. There hadn’t been much exploring done of Aeon except for the central region where they resided. Today however was different, they had made their way towards the Burgeon Coast. The sent of the salty breeze was just as Morphine had remembered. With each step she took her massive hooves drowned further into the sand, briefly leaving behind a print before the waves crashed up on shore erasing it. “Slow down you two….” The ghastly mare shouted, auds pinning against her crown. The last thing she wanted was her little adventure to turn into some drama filled, life or death situation. These two foals were most certainly a handful.
Rais was on his best behavior today, slowing down immediately hearing his mother’s orders. He was excited he was able to get out and explore with his sister. His little, tiny hooves, danced on the white sand, before chasing the waves into the ocean. He was cautious not to go in too deep, and nickered to his sister to come join him in the frothy water. For a moment he paused glancing back at his father as if asking for his approval to continue playing in the waves. He was very obedient but tended to push the limits when his sister was involved. If she asked him to do something even if it would land the two in trouble he would do it without hesitation, just to make her happy.
Morphine couldn’t help but smirk watching Rais in the water, giving her crown a shake, she sent her snowy forelock to one to the side of her cranium, and began to scan the area for any predators or anyone that would do her children harm. She hated always living on the edge, being a weaker link in this new world. It was something she would never get used to.
Ooc: sorry of the super shitty post. xD I have very little internet I use my phone so I had to type and post fast. xD >>;;

”Speech.”
Quietly, I followed behind my family, not too far away from my pet and our offspring. Morphine had taken to motherhood remarkably well, and at times it was interesting to see how differently she acted in front of the children. It was as though there were two sides of her now. The mothering side with the children, and the dark, oh so fun side of her when we were alone. I was beginning to miss that side, because we were never alone anymore. I refused to wander too far away from our twins in this prison of a land. And as they grew and became more rambunctious, it was getting difficult to keep tabs on the both of them. This was not the lifestyle that I wanted. In the past, I had always kept the parenting job up to the mothers while I kept a protective eye over them in the safety and isolation of my Pit. It was not like that here in this wide open landscape. At least the children seemed to be unphased by it. Auds flicked to attention as Morphine called after them following her gaze to watch the twins play. As Rais stopped in the water and looked back at me for permission (and Deliria completely ignoring her mother’s words), I pulled my auds back in hesitation. Finally I gave a single nod of approval for them to continue. Deliria, however, didn’t even stop to look at me as she chased after her brother with what looked like every intention of shoving him into the waves with all her might.
Trusting that Morphine could alert me with any dangers to the children from the water, I turned away to face inland to make sure nothing was lurking on the sand dunes. Satisfied that I saw nothing, I inhaled a deep breath and released a heavy sigh. This was hell. This was boring. Was this depression? ’Well, I’ll be damned, even I’m susceptible to that it seems.’ For a moment, I closed my eyes against the ocean breeze, feeling the misty air cling to my coat and tresses. The humidity was strangely comforting, reminding me of my old kingdom. Why the hell did I insist on chasing down Morphine so long ago? Then we never would be in this mess. Well, she would…But the thought of her arriving her, flirting with that red, devil stallion, possibly even joining him and bearing his offspring… It was sickening. Though, it didn’t stop the resentment I felt towards her every now and then.
We had yet to even come across another normal being, and at this rate I hoped that when we did the normal would be a mare. Another normal mare and myself would add to the normal population, whether Morphine would like that or not was none of my concern. However, if it was a stallion…Heads would roll and blood would spill if he so much as thought about mounting my pet. The very idea rekindled my possessiveness of my little Phantom. Without a word, I turned about to return to Morphine’s side, lowering my crown to groom her whithers. Lips would part to occasionally nip at her neck, though not hard enough to harm her in any way. It was a strange habit that I was beginning to develop, the possessive grooming with nips. In the very back of my mind I knew that it was a way for me to dominantly relieve my stress. At least, in such a way that I didn’t have to worry about the twins seeing. There were other much more fun and very effective ways for me to relieve my stress that Morphine was quite skilled at. However, with the challenge of raising twins, I had to be sure to avoid their prying eyes. That, and I did not want to add another foal to the bunch just yet. Not when it was just Morphine and I to watch over them.
Reminding myself to not chew too much, I pulled away but continued to stand next to Morphine. Dark eyes darted towards the foals for another moment. Deliria was perfectly content at trying to wrestle with her brother, occasionally running off with a wild squeal of delight before charging at him once more. She would slid to a stop in the water just before collision, creating her own wave with her momentum to splash her larger brother. My lips twitched against a smirk. They were so young, not even yearlings, but they were quick to learn and showed brilliant minds. Surely, with their bond, they would be a feared team one day. Rais, the strength and analytical mind. Deliria, the persuasive mind with crazy ideas and a drive to do anything regardless of consequences. It was almost worrisome. She would need Rais to keep her grounded and safe, or else end up In a huge amount of trouble one day.

”Speech.” At his father’s approval Rais giddily began to make his own waves inside the vast ocean. It wasn’t long after his sister began to steamroll him with her own spray of salty water. Rais smirked cockily, his lips parting to reveal his small teeth. ”You’re going to have ta do better than that, Deliria!” He teased, mimicking her motions in the water which in turn drenched his twin. He was having the time of his life playing with his sister. It wasn’t often they wandered far from the lush steppe so for this new adventure he was grateful. After a few short quiet moments the colt pranced around comically, breeze ruffling through his short mane. He nickered and squealed to Deliria aging her on once more. The phantom closed her eyes briefly, feeling her king begin to gnaw away at her withers. Normally she would find his affection quiet endearing but now that her fur was becoming patchy she wanted to give him a swift kick in the butt. Inhaling deeply she filled her lungs with the salty air, letting Panzram continue to do as he wished uninterrupted. Slowly she exhaled. Oh, how the ghastly mare yearned for the days when she and her king had nothing better to do than play their perverse games with imprudent stallions. She longed so badly for any sort of bloodshed that she had almost wished a mutant would stumble across their path. Even an old decrepit one would do. Hell, they could make it a family affair. Family game night…yes. Now wouldn’t that bring some excitement into their lives? The sound of waves washed over the vixen’s auds and for a few brief moment she was back in the Srotigus Pit. Her hooves resting on the rocky slabs, the sound of Panzram’s footsteps coming towards her.. echoing throughout the tunnels, and there Morphine stood, a moonwashed ghost glowing amidst a world of dark.
The phantom opened her eyes the intensity of the daylight making her squint. She used to be the bright one, now she just felt washed out and faded. Sure she was content, proud of how well Deliria and Rais were turning out, and you couldn’t forget how indebted she was to Panzram for coming all this way for her..but she couldn’t help but feel like the darkness in her soul was mocking her. Morphine wanted to let the fire that burned within her soul... the one that fueled her lustful desires out. ”I want to feel their pain…I want the taste of their blood on my lips…” she murmured quietly, unaware she began thinking out loud. She could almost hear the scream of an innocent stallion in the wind, and his painful cry as she tore into his neck. She would forever be a wraith of darkness and violence but for now she just felt like piece of debris floating in the currant.
Auds pinned back, frustrated that her mind had given way to her fantasies. It was much more tolerable and easier to focus on the current, even if she felt like she was becoming numb to the demons clawing their way out from inside her. She didn’t want to end up as one of those crazy mares, the ones who go on a psychotic murderous rampage because they just snap one day. Decide it’s a really good idea to kill off their entire herd. Morphine hoped she could sink her teeth into something bloody soon, just to help curve the cravings. Keep her sane. Now she stood on the grounds of her new home. A foreign world filled with mutants. She really wanted the normals to make a difference in Aeon. She liked to think that eventually they would stumble upon others. Forge a path for a normal rebellion but at the moment she just couldn’t see it. Not when the twins were so young and it was only Panzram and herself. Quietly she stood, staring out at sea, watching Rais and Deliria. The scars that riddled her body told a story. However she felt like she was not the main character anymore. All she was now was stories. They didn’t belong here.. but here she was and Morphine was going to make the best of it. She had high hopes for her children and would do her best to make sure they had every advantage in life.
Rai’s dark eyes lifted, tracing the outline of his mother and father who still stood on the sandy shore. His tiny auds pricked forward as he took a few steps closer to the coast. Suddenly the colt’s gaze fell, and he seemed to be watching the liquid rush and retreat from the coast. Unexpectedly Rais plunged his head into the water and began splashing about, this might have looked quiet odd to any onlookers but before long he was standing upright with a fish thrashing between his ivories. Proudly he pranced his way onto shore dropping the fish in the sand and Morphine smiled, pleased with her son.
”C’mon Deliria let’s get more of these little mutants!! Grr~” Rais said enthusiastically, before trotting back into the water. He had hoped his sister would join him on his hunt for mutants. The colt furrowed his brows, focusing in on what was going on beneath the water. He stood still, waiting for the fish to surround him, think of him as nothing more than something that has always been. SPLASH! In went and out of the water went his head. Again, he had a fish in his maw. His little tail held high he skirted back towards the shore, dropping the second fish next to the first. Quietly he watched as they began to grow weak from lack of water, their flopping slowing till eventually they moved no more. Now they were lifeless. ”I caught those mutants, sir. I killed them good!” Rais said to Panzram, his eyes not leaving his catch.

Coraline
My Words. My thoughts. My voices.
Daggers dig deep into the white sand of the beach, leaving sharp hoof prints in the sand; showing her slow procession across the land. The mare was in a more relaxed mood than she had been for a while now. Her stomach was filled to the brim with a kill from only moments ago, the blood still painting her white lips; a thick deer that had not really put up a fight. Her adrenaline did not grow with that kill, it was far too easy, and so her brain was allowed to go unfuzzy. Coraline loved these moments, when she was allowed to look at the world without the cloudy goggles of blood lust. That was why the mare was out in this open space, a place that did not usually call to her. She was full and uninhibited, so she was able to actually appreciate the beauty that was this land. The salt scent was the first thing that called to her, the fragrance slipping past the thin trees of the forest that was not too far from here. It called to her, beckoned for the mare to come and dance out in the waves. The brilliant white sand engulfed her sight, broken only by the pristine blue waves that crashed over it. The sight was one beautiful enough to marvel even this mare.
Hoof prints soon begin to mingle with the water, whipping away with the tide as if they were never there. Coraline frolicked forward, her pace a happy trot. The salt breeze entangled into her mane, allowing it to wave out behind her much like the waves under her hooves. Her blue pelt shown brilliantly under the bright sun that beat down upon her. The mare pushed forward into the waves, not stopping her progress until her hooves were hovering lightly above the sand. She allowed the waves to catch her and take her on their gentle curves. The mare danced in the beautiful liquid. Tossing her head and sending out her front legs so that the water erupted around her. Wild whinnies escaped from her lips, happy to be this free in such a beautiful setting.
Then a scent caught the mare's attention. There were multiple equines on the beach with her. The mare sent her icy gaze across the horizon, finally catching the sight of a group of equines. Coraline found that she had grown somewhat bored out in the ocean all alone and so she made her way back to shore, edging closer to the group. As she grew closer the mare caught the scent of a stallion, then a mare, and then two children; a colt and a filly. A little family! Oh how fun! It seemed as if the group was out on a family outing, though it seemed as if the stallion wasn't too happy about it. Coraline tossed her head softly. She could help with that. Crashing family parties was always fun.
The mare danced along the white sand, her gate an easy canter moving her towards the group. She slowed to a controlled trot as she came within a yard of them, then she slid to a stop. Sand flying about her form brilliantly. Her head tossed wildly, the spiraling horn that grew from her forehead cutting into the sun's rays. A front hoof pawed into the air, her form slightly hopping into the air. Her ears swiveled about her head, at one point pinning back and at the other flicked forward. She wanted to run to the children, to take them out and dance with them along the waves. But it would be awful hard to deal with both mom and dad. Not like she hadn't dealt with worse, but today was one to be made easy. So she kept her short distance from them. A sharp whinny breaks from her blood stained lips which were pulled back in a wicked smirk that showed sharp fangs. Come play little ones. Bring mommy and daddy too. I always get hungry after a good game. ~Gorgeous Nightmare~

”Speech.”
As the children darted off to play in the ocean’s waves, I felt free to let my mind wander for just a moment and let my orbs glaze over while giving in to my imagination bringing me back home. The only thing that kept me in tune with reality was the constant flicking of my auds to catch onto any little strange noise, yet it was Morphine’s voice that dragged me out of my daydreams. I was unable to catch her first sentence in time as I snapped out of it, but as I looked over to my little pet I was able to listen to her last words. Noting the far off expression and the quiet whisper as she spoke brought a smirk to my lips, realizing that she was not aware of what she was saying. However, I could certainly relate to her frustration and desires. Ah, the fresh metallic taste of blood…I had never let on to Morphine that I had tasted it more recently than she…
The blood of a young, arrogant mare that seemed completely at normal at first glance…I had come across her once as I was scouting for any others like us. Turns out, she was far from normal and had a penchant for blackmail. The snooty little white mare managed to dig up information about my family, and it just so happened that she knew Sephiroth, the demon stallion that I had fought on my first arrival into this wretched land, and threatened to tell of our whereabouts unless I did as she asked. That alone was a huge mistake on her part as I do not take kindly to threats, especially to threats that involve my family. I was never quite sure what made her think she could get away with such a demand, given that she wasn’t exactly the most persuasive vixen when she was trapped alone with no one to hear her pained screams for mercy…It had been a grand and ruthless murder, one that had temporary given me some relief from my own inner demons that screamed at me to return to my old ways…The rumors were spread about here and there once her body was found, however none of the mutants seemed to take it as a serious threat to their own lives. And so the gossip faded away with the wind, and the rotten carcass of the mare was forgotten…
Lifting my dark gaze back to our children, my crown tilted just slightly out of curiosity as I just managed to catch view of Rais with his head underwater and splashing back up with a flopping fish caught between his teeth and bring it to us. A brow raised as I watched Deliria join in, however she didn’t dare catch the fish in her own teeth. Instead, she went in a large circle around her brother, chasing the fish and guiding them to whatever direction she wished. Tightening her circle, she forced the fish towards Rais’s direction, much in a similar way that whales or dolphins would work together. Offering a strange look to Morphine, I was unsure of how to react when Rais approached with yet another fish in his mouth. I watched Rais’s expression as the fish fought for their last dying breaths, a sarcastic thought crossing my mind as I compared Rais to a grizzly bear catch salmon. With pride in my son’s voice, my auds perked to listen to his enthused comments. Deliria had stayed in the shallow waters, however she had stretched her neck around so as to watch the fish stop moving as well. Interesting how she helped him, yet never actually partook in the ‘murders’.
“You must remember that real mutants will put up a much bigger fight. Keep practicing.” Words of encouragement were not exactly my strong suit, and I was actually quite proud of my reaction. Whether Rais, Deliria or even Morphine realized it or not, raising them had brought me to be a much more interactive and accepting father that what I had grown up with…The sound of splashing caught my attention once more, and as I went to look up to Delira I realized that she was still standing stock still, however the fish and her brother were no longer the center of her attention. Following her jaw-dropped look, I was met with the site of a rather attractive blue roan paint that seemed to be normal at first glance. But there was no mistaking the fact that she was one of them with her spiraling horn sprouting from her forehead. Instinctively my crown raised, auds pinned back into my main, and I stomped my hoof with a dominant order towards Deliria. “Children! Now.” The deep growl called to them, carrying the tone that even my button-pushing daughter didn’t dare disobey. Deliria reluctantly began to walk out of the water, going in a wide circle to avoid the mutated mare that had dared to get so close. The filly’s gaze never left the mare, and I couldn’t tell if it was out of fascination or distrust. Obediently, my daughter wedged herself between myself and Morphine as I stared down the mysterious mare. My children knew their routine well, and knew when to take under the cover of their parents. I didn’t bother to make sure that Rais would also step closer, knowing well that he would obey, especially if his sister was near us. I was thankful that he was as protective as I was over Deliria. However, I was protective over both my children and Morphine.
While Morphine could very easily hold her own in a battle, a fact that I had witnessed first had, we both knew to not underestimate any of the strangers we came across here. With many possessing magical powers of some sort, we could never predict just what to expect or how powerful they were. Crown still high, auds still pressed back, I took a defensive step or two forward to partially block my children from the view of the mare, leaving Morphine to stay closer with them. Of course, Deliria craned her neck to watch the outcome, still staring intently at the blue roan mare. Though she still seemed intrigued, she had also stepped closer to her brother nervously. This was not something that any of us were entirely expecting, however it was not exactly surprising. “I ask politely, for you to continue on your way…” It was the most neutral thing I could think of to stay to avoid confrontation yet make my message clear.

”Speech.”
Rais immediately lifted his head out of the water and followed his sister out towards their father. “Geez Deliria, hurry it up!” He didn’t want to leave his sister behind but she was moving so slow! From the time it took them to leave the ocean and arrive to the safety of their parents, Rais got a quick look at the approaching mutant and scowled.. It was now he wished he was much older and stronger and could help protect his family. He wanted to tear into this mutant and rip her to shreds for daring to stumble upon his family. Unfortunately he was much too small and could be taken down as easily as the fish he was previously catching, so he stood his ground, in front of his sister, protecting her, auds pinned to the back of his skull. The feeling of wanting to shed blood was stronger than ever before. But for now he stood silently, watching the events unfold before him.
Unlike her son, Morphine was all grown up and Morphine was going to go ballistic on this stupid fucking bitch for even so much as looking in her children’s direction. Before completely losing her cool however, she attempted to let Panzram reason with the wench, knowing full well that this mutant was not going to hang her head, and simply walk away. No, she knew skanks like this all too well. A contemptuous snort was the only reply given to the mutant, delivered along with a long cold stare from violent orbs. Her ivories clenched down as she fought back words of fury and emitted a howl of maniacal laughter. She was beyond reasoning and ready attack if the mare tried anything. The intruder’s rear was followed by a quick rear or her own, and she sneered at the filthy intruder. She let out another laugh, a loud cackling one, with a sickening sound of evil and hatred burning in it. Every hair was raised along her nape and travelled all the way down towards her tail; auds were flat, hatred evident from every single line of her body. She wanted to inflict pain this mare pain, to taste blood her blood on her lips, feel it on her hooves, and coat. She wanted to tear skin, and break the bitch’s bones, hear that satisfying crunch; she wanted to cause undying pain. She wanted her to regret ever laying eyes on her children. The phantom was ready to torture and crucify this mare, she was ready to make her an example of what was to happen if you threated her family. Her self-control was nothing more than a faded ember and within her mind she was doing all she could not to lash out at the bitch, for fear that this mutant could destroy her beloved family in a single blow. She wrestled to rid the battle-high from her system as she clung onto logic and reason. If there was going to be any sort of fight, it had to be fair. The only thing Morphine could hope for was that this putrid excuse for an equine, had little to no powers, or would fight without them because of some type of honor system. However since that was most likely not going to be the case she would gladly sacrifice herself so Panzram and her children could make a getaway. That was not her ideal option but if things boiled down to it, Morphine would tear apart as much of the bitch as she could. Assuming she wasn’t complexly engulfed in flames by a single look, turned into a statue by a sneeze, or levitated and dropped into the ocean where she would be tangled up in seaweed and drowned. She hated to give in to such weakness, but her mind was made up. Being a mother just does things to you. If only she was back on earth, things would be so different. She wouldn’t be holding herself back. The ghostly vixen stood quietly, tail lashing at her flanks. The obtrusive mare’s next move would determine Morphines. Regardless she wanted to taste blood.

Coraline
My Words. My thoughts. My voices.
~No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold Nothing satisfies me but your soul~
|
Coraline's icy gaze danced along the strange display that the family was putting on. The young colts abandoned the godly touch of the waves, running to hide behind their parent’s simple forms as if there was a plague chasing them. The young colt peered from behind the equine’s legs and stared down the blue beast as if she was a disgusting slug destroying his favored green stalk of grass. The leading stallion of the pack held his face calm, but it was easy to see a dislike that Coraline had never received from any stallion before, though she did not miss his wandering eyes on her pelt when he first caught sight of her. The ghostly white mare did little to hide her utter resentment of Coraline, though the mare never believed they had crossed paths. This mare looked as if she was out for blood, Coraline’s to be specific. Blue ears flash back to her neck, burying them in her thick mane that was beginning to curl with the sweet touch of the spray of the ocean. No mare was allowed to look at her in that way, with such disrespect. Coraline was the epitome of their sex, and any lesser vermin was not granted to ability to set their gaze on her in such a way. The only creature that did not seem to hate Coraline’s very existence was the young filly; she only looked at the monster with curious eyes. Eyes dance along the many pelts of the family, trying to decipher the riddle of their hatred for her. They are one of THEM. Coraline pondered over the words of the voices, there could be many ‘them’ that would give reason for such hatred against the beast. They are a part of those equines who hate the touched. That calling did seem to fit; it would match why the stallion kept his stare on Coraline’s horn as long as he did. The mare had heard of these equines along her many travels. She heard that there were some horses that came through to this world without the divine gifts of the Rift. Because they were the same lowly horses as those who lived in the blasphemous land called Earth they believed that they were the strong ones, that they were the ones who deserved to live. Oh how wrong those creatures were. How could one so lucid believe they were the leading equines? Those who were touched in the Rift were given the powers of the Gods. Horses such as Coraline were the Chosen Ones. Any untouched equine was not worth the love of the Gods, not worth their time, not worth their touch. They were inferior. Coraline was Chosen, second only to the Gods. These horses? They were as low as worms. The stallion’s maw then opened and asked Coraline to please move along. A sharp laughter rose from the mare’s throat, catching the obvious hardship he was having in staying polite with her. How dare he ask her to move along? This was her land, more so than it was his. The mare could feel her anger boiling in her blood, her heat rising. The hotter her emotions grew the cooler the air around her become. The powerful ice that flowed inside of the beast begged for a release and so the mare allowed it to show itself. Thin parts of the edge of the waves that glanced off of the mare’s hooves froze into sheets of ice, shattering and flowing back out into the water, the cycle repeating. The air a few feet around Coraline shivered, the spray of water that came up from the ocean drifting down to the sand as snow, covering the mare in a slight coat of shining white. The mare smiled wickedly, showing her thick fangs. Elegant legs carried the girl forward, only a few paces, not close enough to truly frighten them. If they wanted to hate her, she would willingly give them a reason. The mare had taken down bigger horses than the mother and father easily, this would be no different. But the mare was not going to fight, unless they provoked her. She was only going to show them the idiotic errors of their way, show them the hands of the Gods. “Sir,” The mare dipped her head in a bow, her sharp horn bending towards the family and then rising back up. “May I ask what would cause such a, though polite, quick request.” With every breath outward of her lyrics a thick puff of foggy air came from her mouth, mixing in with the small amount of snow that fell only a few feet around the mare. Coraline sniveled at the word polite, eyes looking over the handsome stud and then moving away from him to the ghost mare. “My dear, if you do not find a way to better hide your emotions they might come back and bite you.” Coraline snapped her teeth shut at the end of her words, the sound ringing from her mouth. ”You should do better to control your wench, she could cause you some trouble one day.” Her eyes once more flowing to the stallion, a dainty eyebrow cocked at him. One back hoof rested up on the white covered sand, showing that she was in no mood for leaving. The stallion seemed far too interesting of a prospect, and the mare needed to learn some respect. As for the children, the colt might be a lost cause, but the filly could learn the error of her ways and come to her senses, she could be saved. ~Well I am Death, none can excel, I'll open the door to heaven or hell.~ [/blockquote]
