AEONIAN
HORSE
HORSE
this place runs through our veins[/sup]
Aeonians have an unlimited color palette. There are three rumored metallic colors that are highly desired and reserved; Glass where the Aeonian's body appears see through, though tangible; Platinum where the pelts of the Aeonian's body has a blue sheen on a truly silver pelt and leave traces of blue light in their movement's wake, and Golden where the Aeonian Horse appears carved from deep mountain gold, unblemished.
There are various species native to Aeon, some natural and some unnatural. The Aeonian Horse is a special Warmblood-like breed that's said to be the mount of the gods themselves, and therefore the most highly respected and renowned of equine upon the tropical continent. Their lineage dates back to the long forgotten time of Aeon's creation, and scribes wrote of their bonding with Gods' in the testaments found in the ancient libraries scattering Babylon. These prestigious horses are Aeon born and bred, and are prideful creatures because of it. To have an Aeonian horse is to truly unmask the Aeon experience.APPEARANCE
- HEIGHT: 15-18hh
- BODY STYLE: Ranging from robust and masculine to lean and defined. Aeonians typically aren't dainty, but if you mix the blood correctly you may get smaller, lighter Aeonian horses, though it is rare. They do not like to feel frail, for the idea of physical weakness to them is undesirable. One may be shunned for such a build.
- COLORATION:
- These three rumored colors are on lock down, and unavailable to the public unless under special privileges given from iTehSoupi.
[/li][li] TONGUE: Aeonians have tropical accents, obviously surrounded by their tropical world. It is extremely rare for them to have any other form of accent, just do to exposure. It resembles most a mixture of Haitian, Jamaican, Hawaiian, and Caribbean influence, or is best described that way. It manifests itself differently per horse, but is easily recognizable as one in the same.
[/li][li] EXTRAS: Aeonians have unlimited possibilities when considering extras on the body. Wings, horns, extra limbs, two tails, anything! Some may have none, some may be sporting ten others. Bare in mind with their extra limbs, however, that some may carry a price. When an Aeonian has no extra limbs at all, some of the older of their kind consider them special, and "pure", whilst others may view them as tainted and undeserving of their breed title.

ABILITIES
- PHYSICAL: Known as the mount of the gods, this special breed is up to par with the name. Faster, stronger, and typically more agile than the average horse, depending on their physical appearance, Aeonians are vastly superior to their equine counterparts. A scrawny Aeonian won't be as strong as a pure bred, unTouched Clydesdale, but could easily take on a rather toned Quarter Horse or Thoroughbred.
- These upgrades for your Aeonians are for sale in the Account Upgrades.
- MAGICAL: Seeing as the ethereal plane is their homeland, and therefore the powers are in their blood, Aeonian Horses learn magic faster than your average horse (at 8 posts a level), and even have an extra level (7, or 8 if you also have an Etherstone). They also have one more magic slot, making their total three, in comparison to regular horses.
SOCIETY
- ONE ON ONE: Aeonian Horses know that they're ranked amongst the highest of equine, and they gladly flaunt it. They are extremely proud creatures, and like to stick to one another the best they can. This does not mean that they dislike other breeds, though they are slightly biased to them for they understand their superiority. Some may symphathize with their lesser counterparts, though in the subconscious of their minds, they always will know that if it ever came down to it, they were the better horse of the two.
- IN GROUPS/CLANS: Most equine of this breed tend to be social, as is expected of horses, and prefer the clan setting. To be part of a clan, specifically the founding four of Gascti, Thalmic, Selisona, and Loxacin, is the highest honor one can have. To complete a trial given by a chief gives an Aeonian a vast amount of self worth and pride, and others will also recognize this accomplishment. The small family bands that litter Aeons shadows, even despite their pure bloodlines, may be seen as inferior due to their lack of achievements through clan-life. The strongest, most renowned, and the most powerful of the Aeonian Horses were always a significant upholder in a clan, typically holding some sort of authoritative position (chief, beta, omega, etc). Those in the clans were also more likely to be chosen by the Gods, its said. So, by harboring disdain towards becoming a clansmen is seen as what is equal to a sin in the eyes of Aeonians.
- OFFSPRING: Prideful as it is, Aeonians are very protective and watchful parents. A clan will usually help raise a child together, though of course its immediate parents are the strongest of influences. When not in a clan setting, Aeonian foals lose these teachings, and it is obvious later on in their socialization with others. In some cases, Aeonains will be bitter towards an impure child bore from one of their fellows. Though they are too attached to their heritage to shun the child, they are always seen as lesser creatures, despite a sympathizer or two.
- DRIFTERS: As stated, Aeonians listed as "Drifters" typically aren't regarded highly until they pass into the name of a clan. Drifters, despite perhaps being in small groups or bands, are seen as, a lack of a better word, broken. To the most extreme of Aeonians, they are considered tainted through some ethereal power for reasons beyond their own if they deny any desire to become a clansmen, and believed to bring curse, death, or tragedy with them.
OTHER
- HALF AEONIANS: Horses that have half Aeonian blood also receive some benefits. Though they may not be as fast, strong, or agile as a full blooded Aeonian, they still level up magic easier, and get an extra level to their magic class. Otherwise, a lot of their physical abilities and characteristics are determined solely by their parentage. Likewise for 3/4th Aeonians, they receive equal benefits however suffer from the small part of their lines that runs unpure. If a horse is born with less than 50% Aeonian blood, they do not receive any benefits.
- SPECIAL NOTICE: Aeonian horses may only be bought or bred. In Griffon's Items at The Top of the World, a person has the option to either buy a pure bred Aeonian horse for 200 shards.
