So I just got this new charactor, Torren, a few days ago. and I'm all, 'Doyyyy this is gunna beh great!' and I made him an electric and everything, forgetting I should have made him an illusionist. well, too late, but anyway, I found a way to mess around with it, but it requires 100+ favor. I've been advertising and I have'nt got anything from it and BLAAAAARRRRGH I'LL NEVER FIGURE THIS OUT!!!
The thing is to pull it off I'll need two metal cuffs with actuall functioning reasons, 20 karma for an extra magic slot or two, some superficial markings that'd need to be purchased, my other charactor Canarjus to get to level 3 ressurection, a wyvern, a fenras wolf, some people actively participating, mods NOT to say I'm powerplaying, to figure out where all the shops are, and a potato.
Aside from that, when I was figuring this out, several of my favorite roleplays are dying.
That is all for now.

I'm sorry that you're having a difficult time :c. But here's some help on locating shops and how to earn favor:
Shops: Outlaying Summit (Griffons Items), Advent Dropoff (At World's End)
How to earn favor: Post like crazy! And if anyone replies, no matter who it is, roleplay with them, because every post is worth 5 favor. Second, advertising payment has been raised to 20f temporarily, so I'll update that for you ASAP. Also, don't spend your favor all at one time. Save it up, and when you get a good amount, buy whatever it is you want and you'll still have enough left over if you want to splurge a little more later on. If you can do graphics or codes, open a shop! Even traditional art is good to sell for extra favor, and since traditional is coming back in style, I'm positive others would pay to have their character drawn.
Also, one way to ease the pain of the mods is to re-read over your post and think, "is there anything in here that will force the other character?" if so, change it to where it's not affecting them into the scale of "godmodding". Another thing you can do is if it's getting out of hand, PM them and ask them politely to cut it out, or point out exactly what is wrong, and if they keep giving you an unnecessarily hard time, snitch to an admin! As for activity, we're a LOT more active now than roughly two months ago, so it's going to take time for people to make their way back here. But it will happen eventually, it's the cycle of a roleplay. Be patient, it'll be worth the wait!
For the companion, here at Aeon we have Familiars. They are basically partners of your character. Here is the application and rules!
I hope I helped you some! If there's anything else you need, please feel free to PM me. c:

I hope by "people actively participating" you don't mean replying as quickly as you do to threads, lol! x3 I used to be a speed-demon with responses, but since starting up school again, I have priorities other than making posts. Still, try to be patient and realize that a lot of Aeon's members are college-aged, and have real-world responsibilities that can get in the way of responding to threads; it's not uncommon for it to take between a few days and even a week until someone is able to take the time out of their life to write a decent reply. I second everything Nancy said about favor, shopping, and avoiding god-moding; just remember that you can always PM a mod if you have any questions or doubts about anything! We're here to help, after all! :'3[/color]

Naah, I just mean more people/characters. As long as they DO post when they can Im happy . You'll find I nag a lot less when I have several plots at once.
