Coraline
My Words. My voices. Strong legs push the beast forward. Dagger sharp hooves lifting a thick cloud of grey smoke behind her. Her form was propelled forward by the thirst that burned in her throat. How long had it been since she feasted? Days, weeks, months... It had been quite a long measure of time. The mare had been too busy playing with her toys that she had found to think of eating. But now she was not so occupied and she could feel the urge for blood clogging her mind. She craved, needed, that sweet taste of flesh. Blue ears flick around every which way, trying to catch the sound of any kind of creature that Coraline could sink her fangs into. Pristine white nostrils flare wildly, trying to catch the beautiful scent of blood. Suddenly something did catch her attention. There were two scents in the air. One was that of a deer. Poor lost soul. The other was that of an equine. Coraline shook her head wildly. Which ever one came first she would feast on. Then the other would be a game.
Coraline's brain was clouded with the thoughts of blood, but she was not so clouded that she could not love the atmosphere that she was in. The whole land was dipped in darkness, there was no true sign of life, everything was barren and dead. The mare loved it. She could not help but notice how perfect it was. Here she could live without the intervening of other equines. Sure she would have to journey out to hunt, but that was no problem, she could live with that. This place was a true beauty. As the mare raced along the edge of darkness, hooves just barely missing the black void. The beast's thick banners waved behind her, a thick and crazed laughter bubbling up from her lips.
Soon the scent of food came closer to the mare's senses. The deer was not far from the equine, the horse would be able to see Coraline kill. But what did that matter? Coraline could take them down just as easy as she would the deer. The equine's form pushed her closer to the deer, strong back legs lurching onto the prey before it could run. Hooves hold the thing down while sharp fangs tear into the sweet flesh. Low snarls erupt from the mare's mouth as she continued to feast. Soon the deer was only a pile of bones. Once that prey was gone Coraline turned her attention to the equine. Coraline's head tilts slightly to the side, blood dripping down her stained mouth. A new play thing perhaps? At this thought the mare scent out a whinny, calling whatever creature might be out there towards her. ~Gorgeous Nightmare~

S h u j a a ; I stood in the grey mist, it surrounding my whole bodice. Mind you, I was quite the large animal, I preferred not to move around too much, it would disrupt my daily need to be extremely lazy. So now I was quite irritated that I had to travel through these barren lands to get back to my homeland: Gascti. Adelaide Dresner had accepted me, but soon after I'd taken off. I had to take care of some loose ends with my older sister who had somehow ended up on Aeon. Wherever she was now was no concern to me, I was quite alright with not coming in contact with that wench. I was actually quite growing on my new home. I mainly liked the illusionist powers I'd received coming through the hell of the thing they call the Rift. The greatest pain I've ever felt in my whole enter life was spent in that. I'd have to say the most odd thing about Aeon was all of the oddities here. I mean, look at the wings and the markings on most horses! Miss-matching eyes, discolored manes and tails, powers, and more! Most of the time it felt like I was the only normal one there. But I'd also heard a band of normal horses was starting up while I'd traveled to visit my sister and I really wanted to investigate what all that was about.
I sighed loudly, the mist swirling around my ears. Standing there quietly, enjoying my peacefulness, I heard a loud whinny call from within the mist of nothing. A little started, I perked my ears into a forwards position and prepared myself for whatever beast may be advancing towards my stocky Gypsy Vanner frame. Sadly, I couldn't use my powers in this god-forsaken area so I couldn't teleport to and from them and I was defenseless against monsters. Either way, they would find me soon or later, maybe they would be a good friend. Lifting my colored snout, I raised an answering whinny into the air, deep and stallion-like, indicating my direction.

Coraline
My Words. My voices.
The mare flicked her ears upwards to the sound of the stallion’s call. He had not seen her? What a poor soul, lost out in this darkness, unable to see through its sweet film. So he must not be able to see through the gloom that shaded the area. Not used to it perhaps? Whatever it was that caused him to be unable to see greatly tickled the mare. The blood from her recent kill was just now soaking into her mind, causing her to become drunk on the crimson stuff. Whenever she was in this mood the mare loved her games all that much more. They were more exciting, more fun, and crueler for whoever Coraline chose to be her victim. The stallion lost in the ebony mist just so happened to be this creature, her new play thing. Oh how we have missed our games! The voices chided inside the mare’s mind, egging her into starting the game. The mare let go of a long, deep, chuckle. It moved like velvet across the silence that permeated the pair. A maniacal sound, one that a psychopath would make before ripping his teeth into his next victim, a sound that the mare had used often. A scared participant in her games always made the outcome that much more interesting. The sweet taste of fear added to the taste of their blood.
Coraline lifted her long limbs, circling around the stallion, hoping to keep herself hidden in the shadows and out of his sight. She circled him, like a lioness would a wounded gazelle lost in the prairie. The beast gently hummed a tune with her crimson stained lips. A haunting melody that resonated deep within her throat. ”Poor lost soul…” She whispered these words, just loud enough so that the lyrics would dance to the stallion’s ears. ”Out here all alone, with no protection.” She spoke from the shadows, her words dancing through its ebony fingers. ”Are you afraid of the dark?” Her words grow darker in tone, a playful threat edging out of them, layered in sheets of ice. ”You should be.” With this the mare threw another dark giggle into the emptiness, her head tilting back. She couldn't wait for that look of fear or aggravation that was sure to arise from the stallion at these little taunts. ”Monsters hide in the shadows…” With this the mare stopped her merciless circling, looking the brute in the face. With quick movements she stepped forwards out of the shadows, a wide smirk showing blood stained fangs. Her head was held high, spiraling horn pointing towards the coal sky, steps elongated and elegant. Did she look the part of a monster? No, despite those crimson fangs that hung from her mouth. She was a siren, luring her victims in with her beauty and fragile looks, then capturing them like the black widow. But this was not a time for luring. Coraline had already feasted; she had no want or need of this creature’s blood. Instead she wanted a game, so she allowed those sharp teeth to hang from her crimson lips, hoping to evoke some kind of emotion from her contestant. ”Wouldn't want to run into one of those, would we?”
